This sacred being is a sitting in a traditional Japanese stance called sitting Seiza. It is a gesture that shows great respect and helps calm and centre the mind.
She has been sculpted with paper-clay with a seal bone as her wing which has been gold leafed. She is mixed media and acrylic painted.
